My story

Why I started SK Solutions.

After more than 25 years in product management, I discovered what I enjoyed most wasn't just defining products — it was building them.

When a career counselor asked if I could create a software solution for her business, I designed the product, created the user experience, and built the application using modern AI-assisted development tools. That project changed everything.

I realized I could combine decades of product management experience with today's technology to help small businesses get custom software without the cost and complexity of a large development team.

That's why I started SK Product Strategy & Solutions.

Beyond the desk

20+ years in animal rescue — the other half of this story.

Long before SK Solutions, I spent two decades in animal rescue — from board-level administration to hands-on fostering. I've done the intake, chased the follow-up, and closed out the books at midnight myself. That firsthand experience is what led to Rescue Management Hub, an affordable rescue management platform built for volunteer-led organizations — shaped by someone who has actually run one, not just interviewed one.
